Please can someone mark/grade this? Thanks! It's a 12 marker IGCSE paper for Religious Studies/Theology. How can I improve>

‘For religious believers, sexual relationships should take place only within marriage.’[12]

On the one hand, for some Christians, they do not approve of sex before marriage. This is shown in the Catechism of the Catholic Church 2390 "the sexual act must place exclusively within marriage. Outside of marriage it always constitutes a grave sin." The Orthodox and Catholic churches are good examples – they do not recognise sexual relationships outside of marriage and they believe that sex should only take place within a marriage. Christians believe that sexual relationships are important, and that sex is a gift from God. Meaning, sexual relationships should only take place within a marriage. Having casual sexual relationships (promiscuity) is wrong in the eye on Christians, because it devalues sex. This teaching refers to the responsibility Christians have for what they do with their body and how it's treated: "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit... Whom you have received from God? Therefore honour God with your bodies." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

On the other hand, for some Buddhists, there are no teachings saying that sex before marriage isn't allowed, however, they need to conduct themselves so that they will not cause suffering to others. This includes adultery and rape. The Third of 5 Precepts states "refrain from the misuse of the senses or sexual misconduct." This prevents Buddhists from doing wrong and ensures they are living a morally good life. Buddhists believe that sex should form part of a loving relationship inside and outside of marriage. A teaching from the Buddha shows that depriving yourself of something leads to suffering and dissatisfaction. This can be applied to sex.

In my opinion, sex before marriage, in all cases, as long as you and your partner treat each other correctly, prevent suffering, and sustain from adultery and promiscuity. I believe that sex before marriage is key to forming a happy and intimate relationship with one another.
