In every possible way! they wear make-up and ask for beauty advice, their clothes seem to be getting more feminine (seriously, i was in topshop today and couldn't tell the difference between the mens and womens sections) and some of them look as though they've spent at least an hour doing their hair before they left their house! does anyone else find this a bit weird, not to mention a complete turn-off?!

I hear what you're saying and I agree that there has been a strong shift towards some feminine characteristics, especially when it comes to clothing and spending hours on hair.
I'm sure there are still loads of manly guys out there but it annoys me too when I see somebody from behind who looks like a woman and when they turn around it's a man with a girly hairdo and a girls coat!
Guys feel they want to look good too, so they've become more fashionable and spend more time on the their looks. And some girls like that, others prefer more "masculine" men, like yourself.
Personally, I want to look good, but I wouldn't ever wear make-up or anything. I'd say most guys think balance is best.
Indeed. The feminisation is even worse in China and Japan, it seems! I can't watch a single TV drama without thinking the main male character looks far prettier than the girl >_<
I was out with my mum the other day, saw nothing i liked for the majority of the day, then i saw a really pretty, sparkly pruple shirt, was about to go try it on... then we realised it was meant for guys WTF???

lol, i bought a woman's jacket once by mistake (froms mens section). I liked the pale green color of it!
Simple; in the last 10 - 20 years the female obsession with increasing male sensitivity to suit women's changing intellectual demand for equality and understanding has led to men becoming oversensitive. All of the feminine qualities men exhibit today reflect the eternal male desire to be attractive to the fairer sex. Now women whine because they've created a generation of sexually confused metrosexuals. What did you expect? You beat the bloody alpha male out of 9/10s of the male population, and now you're looking for a real man? Oh, the irony. The hypocrisy.

Bring back the MEN!
And while we're at it, let's bring back absolute patriarchy and lose the right to vote!
