My emphasis, if you are not 'proper into MPharm' then please think again. It's 5 yrs and 37k, not something to do if you aren't really that interested in it. It's going to be a long, hard, expensive slog!

Could you take a gap year and apply for medicine? Does that interest you?
Or did you enjoy psychology, and could do that and then a post-grad and become a clinical psychologist/ counsellor?

People like this are the reason why there’s a negative stigma with the profession. You’re “not into it”? Don’t do it then. You’re gonna be one of the cynical angry posters telling all the students on tsr how terrible the profession is because your not enjoying it. Leave the space to the people who are actually passionate. Have you applied to medicine? Just because you don’t get in, don’t go for the easier option. Pharmacy is very hard, very long and very tedious. Not good for someone who’s “not into it” anyway. I know people who have failed/kicked out the course because of this similar attitude. Try therapy/physiotherapy, physician associate, pharmacology, radiologist.

I agree, My respect to those in that profession, I dont even want to fathom the grind of getting masters degree in that profession.

Honestly, the study is conceptually harder than medicine. A lot of medics have told me a-level chemistry was harder than medicine, so imagine a degree specialised in in-depth chemistry whilst combining the clinical aspects that medics already study! It’s is very complicated and people need to think before choosing.
