Is induction week compulsory if you're retaking the year?

Due to personal reasons, I wished to retake the year and the uni I am studying at allowed it, which I'm extremely happy and grateful for. However, does this mean you really need to go to induction week again if it just involves introducing/welcoming you to the course?

Thankyou in advance!

It’s the best way to get to know your coursemates. I would go along - your course might have changed from last year due to covid rules changing so things might be different to last year.
