Student accommodation advice

Hi

Im applying to swansea uni for sept 2022 for paramedic science
I have been looking at the student accommodation which isnt the best i have seen. I have researched other student accommodation and have found private student halls like student roost st davids?
Anyone staying at private student halls or looked at them? Are they better or worth it over the uni accommodation?

There are a number of new private providers in Swansea and most have opened in the last 2 years

There are a couple of others that will probably be open next year.

The advantages of staying there is that they are close to the City Centre are very new and usually have private facilities.

Paramedic science takes place on Singleton campus. Most of the rooms there are older and very often dont have private facilities. The advantage of staying there is the proximity to lectures.

The problem with Swansea university accommodation is that only about 40% of the rooms are on Singleton Campus so many people end up staying at the student village which is 2 miles away or the Bay Campus 5 miles away and travelling in daily.

I think you really need to look further into your options by visiting if possible
