On my test paper for maths non-calculator I got 24 out of 60 what would this mean? To clarify what grade?

24/60? It means you failed.

Just kidding, not sure. What exam board is it?

Well that would be a good non-calculator question for working out what percentage you had: 12/30, or 4/10 = 40%

Depends if your higher or foundation. Foundation (according to Edexcel 2019) it would be a 3, if your higher it would be a 6.

🤮 AQA ?

Yeah, it’s the same for AQA.

You either have a Grade 6 if you did higher paper

Or grade 3 if you did foundation.

However, I would ask your teacher as this paper might have been difficult/adjusted.
