I began my A levels a week ago. I'm fed up of constantly looked down upon by everyone as I get average grades and I want to start putting work in and do something with my life. I know A* is a pretty high goal, especially for a student who got mostly 6s at GCSE but I want to do whatever it takes. I'm planning on studying two hours a day per subject depending on how confident I feel on it.

Should I study and learn everything before it's taught in my free time or just revise and make sure I fully understand what's being taught at my lessons? What did you to do get your grades? I'm willing to do anything no matter how grim things seem for me. I'll work hard.

I'm taking History, Literature and Biology. Even if you aren't doing the same subjects as me please tell me what you did.
