A level psych 16 markers.

Hi everyone, does anyone know how many evaluation points/paragraphs I should be doing for the 16 markers, both for the ones where it asks about one explanation or study, and the ones about two explanations for something. I have heard online that 3-4 evaluation points are good, however, today my teacher said for the "Discuss two explanations for...." questions, I need to do 8 evaluation points, 4 for the first and 4 for the second, but that seems too much. Does anyone know any advice on how many I should be doing for each type of 16 markers?
8 seems ridiculous.

I think the rule is though, the less detailed they are the more you need. If they were just sentences then yeah maybe you'd need 8, but you can do 3-4 if they're detailed and fully-developed.
