I’m in my final year of high school. I’m doing an open university module at SCQF 7 and in school a cyber security class at SCQF 6 (I’m also crashing higher human biology and doing advanced higher history). I’m unsure if I should change cyber security to media studies for example where I could possibly get another A or B (I don’t think SCQF is graded). Thanks.

I'm in S4 doing SCQF 6 cyber security as an extra subject, and I find it easy enough so far. I'd say go for what you most enjoy, but I've heard that Cyber Security doesn't have as many UCAS points as a proper course, as there is no final exam and it's a pass/fail(at least for me).

I did a SCQF level 7 engineering fundamentals 10 credit course, I also looked into YASS courses that were SCQF level 7, but ended up doing another higher instead. It looked like both of them had no UCAS points, unless I missed something, but you can mention in your personal statement. Really enjoyed the engineering course, so it was worth doing.
