hi guys,

im an international student and applying for dentistry this year as graduate entry. I studied chemistry msci at imperial, and im expecting a 2.1.
my alevels were A*A*AA in phys, math, bio and chem.
my ucat was 2680 b1 which was essentially not competitive as an international student.
i didn't take gcses, although i had the equivalent things in malaysia(but not gcse or igcse)

any ideas on which dental schools i should apply for? all i want is to maximise my chance of getting into any dental school

thanks!!

You will get more responses in the dentistry forum. I'm not an expert in the requirements for graduate entry dentistry so I'll just tag Mesopotamian.

Thanks, although I’m not an expert in any area of dentistry except complaining about my dental school

OP you have relatively good stats, but unfortunately they may not be competitive enough for dentistry, especially as you’re international and competition for both graduate and international is fierce.
Have a look at this link for graduate entry and undergraduate entry dentistry and contact dental schools to ask if they will actually accept your degree (since it’s only chemistry and not a bioscience?).

Thanks for your reply! I decide to apply for the standard 5year programmes instead of the 4year ones
