A level results when applying to Uni

I have to make a choice between sitting for my ALs or going for school assessed grades. If I sit for my exams, I am pretty sure that I can get an A or above (though not certain), while if I go for SAGs, I'm 100% sure I'll get A*s.

My problem is this. I live outside of the UK and plan to move there for University. My fear is that the predicted results from the SAGs will not be as recognised as the actual test results, especially since they only give the grade and not the mark itself.

Does the trade off seem worth it? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You need to contact each UK Uni you intend to apply to, and ask.
UK schools/Unis hae used Assessed grades for the last two years but only the Unis can tell you if they will now accept this from an Overseas applicant in the current application year.
