Maintenance loan comes after my accom payment deadline.

Title. Is this normal? I'm assuming that there's a good reason for this since the uni should well know that most of us need the maintenance loan to cover our accommodation payment, however I'd like to make sure.

This is university owned accommodation so do I speak to them? I've already sent them a message but they've yet to reply. This is an issue that most if not everyone in my year group that relies on loans is confused about atm (I'm a 1st year btw).

They’re your landlord so yes they’re who you need to speak to
