I decided to go with elliptical curves and cryptography but I can’t normally specify it in a way to have more math there than it. If you have some idea I will appreciate it if you will share it with me.

I assume this is for an IA - honestly this sounds way beyond IB level. Elliptic curves don't normally get dealt with until like...third year degree level in any substantive way I believe?

I would recommend you start by looking at the IA rubric, then your syllabus, and picking something that fits the rubric exactly which is also something you have studied (or at least have studied the background for). You don't need to reinvent the wheel for IB IAs (or even the EE), doing something well known but carefully documented and written will usually get more marks than trying (and almost certainly failing) to prove Fermat's Last Theorem or something.
