anthropology degree — advice from current students

hi all, im currently on my gap year & am re applying for uni. i am certain on studying anthropology, but there isn’t much information on how students actually find their courses, or advice on what to include in personal statements etc.

the uni’s im applying for are:
uni of manchester social anthropology
uni of birmingham anthropology, classical lit & civilisation
queens belfast anthropology
sussex anthropology
plymouth anthropology

my a-levels were english lit, history & re so all the courses are BA degrees (apart from manchester BSocSc) — is their a drastic difference between BA & BSc courses?

any info on how you find the course, the uni or any advice on applying would be v appreciated
