Hello,

I'm a (guy) Fresher starting uni very soon and naturally, I plan on clubbing every now and then. With that in mind, I want to leave my chunky wallet on nights out and take slim card holder that would fit in my pocket instead.
However, I am unsure how many cards I actually need for that occasion. I'm from EU and I have my national ID and driver's license (please tell me if I should take either), I will definitely be needing my student ID and a debit card. Sooo, I would say I need 3 to 4 slots in my card holder. Am I forgetting anything? Are there other cards and the like a clubbing Fresher should consider?

Thanks in advance!

assuming you're in the uk, pick whatever id is most recognisable here (probably the drivers license but you may need a uk id - idk)
+a card to pay on (but one you can cancel/freeze easily)

student id is easily replaced if you lose it (might cost £5 or something) but you don't necessarily need it, it depends where and when. i never showed mine anywhere

you can get very slim card slider wallets that hold 5ish cards very well

Hi! An00bis

I would say you just need your driver's licence and your debit card.
You might need your student card if you attend student nights out.
Then there is your key card for your halls if you want to be able to get back in.
So I would go for a cardholder that holds at least four cards.

I hope this helps!
Best wishes

Who takes their debit card around now? It's not 2003...just use Apple Pay (or equivalent) on your phone, and then that's one less thing to carry around
