I have received an offer to study Law LLB with a foundation year at the university of kent, and another offer at the university of roehampton without a foundation year. what uni is the better option

Without foundation is like people that have slightly lower grade which is why you may have been offered but the other uni you said is without foundation so that better you can do first year without foundation.

A better alternative to doing a foundation year is to resit your A levels next summer and apply to get straight onto the degree course at Kent.

From a financial point of view, this is definitely the best advice. Foundation years are not good value unless you really have no other choice - and you usually have another choice.
