Which triangle is it correct to use? (Mechanics)
Hi, I've come across a question I’m struggling to wrap my head around
( https://imgur.com/gallery/rVHt8KM ) Specifically, in part iv), I’m not sure how to calculate the component of tension perpendicular to the lever. I’ve drawn the two potential triangles on the question – hopefully you’ll be able to explain why one or the other is correct.

Use the second triangle, you want the force of T perpendicular to the lever in order to resolve for F
