I’m applying for two courses

If I’m applying to two courses eg chem eng and environmental science should I do two different personal statements or can I make one all rounded one. My current first draft is based around the environment as even in the chem eng aspect I’d like to specialise in something to do with environment but idk if that’s the right thing to do.

You can only submit one PS via UCAS.
Oh I didn’t know that
So do you think applying for both is a bad idea?

True but unis sometimes ask for another ps which you could send back about the second course.

I would advise writing a general ps without mentioning the titles of the courses but including things that are in common.

I agree that's a solid strategy for the OP.
If there is enough overlap then you can do that, but if not you should either ask if a uni will accept a PS for an alternative subject, or ask if they will accept an additional PS
