Hi
I am doing edexcel gcse english language and literature. We will be covering Christmas Carol, macbeth, coram boy and poetry.

Can anyone give me pointers to which books , guides and resources are good for these.
I have heard of York notes, are they any good?
Also is spark notes a good revision resource, do you have to pay for it.

Please help...

The best resource for GCSE English lit is making flashcards with quotes and analysis of the quotes for all your texts. And context cards too. This is invaluable and is the best resource to use for English lit. Also, read top band essays. This is what I did and I got an A* for English lit.
