Hey there!

This is probably something to approach your schools or library team about, as some University's will provide students with a certain amount of printing credit per year, and the cost after this point will also likely vary between Universities and the buildings in which you're printing. If yours doesn't provide printing credits, this is something to possibly bring up to your course reps and education reps. Also, although I have only studied sciences at A-Level, I would imagine this depends largely on your work method- if you are someone who is happy to learn, create and revise everything from a laptop, then you might only need to print off lab sheets to make notes, but if you feel you learn better by drawing and highlighting things then your printing bill might be higher.

Hope this helps, and that you can also find some guidance from other science undergraduates too.
