I can't understand this equation.
3x-y=4
9x=4x^2+5
I don't know how to this. The thing that is confusing me is that y is present in eq 1 but not in eq2.

The second one is a quadratic so you can solve for x then use that value to find y in the first equation.

Methods that can be used to solve the quadratic:
-Completing the square
-Quadratic formula
-Factorising
