ahh i see, for a) there's just a sign error when you moved the -2 over to the right hand side of the equation
and b) have another think: you can never have the denominator of a fraction=0, so what can't 'x' equal?

yeah think so

how far have you got with 2a)? iii and iv should be okay to try if you're not sure about i or ii yet

note: fg is f(x) multiplied by g(x)

ahh for c) you've expanded the (2x-3)2 slightly incorrectly (sign error) which affects your answer for d) too

for d) yes, now you'll need to set that =0 to solve the equation

i don't have the same answer as you for part ii (the range of fg). have you done differentiation yet?
