Is he a player?

I like a guy. But when I showed a girl saw his photo, she was immediately shocked and recognized him instantly, saying he's not nice, like a player type who knows he's good looking and he's with a new girl each week or month. She said that her male friend told her this but added that he's not the most reliable person.
I have seen him be awfully touchy with women especially one girl in his circle whom he's always flirting with, putting his arms/hands around her neck, always touching her by the shoulders. I also saw the girl get him cigarettes, and she was asking him how she looked in the dress she was wearing. She also out her hands on his thigh.

Though, he spends alk his time trying to impress me and stare at me and can't even start a conversation on his own with me.

What do you think? Is he a player?
Impossible to tell from any of that.

Not really,no.
And if Ypu don’t know and yours in the situation, it’s impossible for anyone else to know either.
Nothing in that spiel suggests player or not a player except the fact that someone you Actually know and who Actually knows him says that he is.
Not a player. Just sounds like a guy that’s single.

But I wasn't there so I can't really say anything, if you think he was too touchy and flirty don't go with him. Quite simple to me..

He’s single.
He is doing nothing wrong.
