Differences between a level 3 national certificate and level 3 extended diploma

currently deciding wether to do my secondary schools btec course which is a national business level 3 certificate or go college and do level 3 extended diploma is there a difference? And when i finish my course what kind of jobs can i do with my qualification?

The certificate is equivalent to 0.5 of an A level, whereas the Ext Diploma is equivalent to 3 A levels and is a two year ourse. If you want to go to University you will need the UCAS points from the Extended Diploma or from 3 A levels. Work wise, the ext Diploma will give you the basic knowledge to work in any Business / Marketing/ HR / Management type roles.
