Perhaps too much of a legal question, but does anyone know if EU citizens with pre-settled status currently residing in the UK will have their applications thrown out when a position requires Indefinite Leave to Remain?

De-jure pre-settled itself is not indefinite leave, de-facto it is tentative indefinite leave, as it grants leave for a period (5 years) that (unless you came here 31 December 2020) makes you eligible for settled status (equivalent to indefinite leave) before your leave ends.

Despite this I can imagine that for whatever reason you effectively have to have lived here for 5 years and been granted settled status before you can apply for (from what I can tell) most graduate jobs.

Perhaps someone has some experience?
