Personal statement help

Hello, I’m currently in year 13 and I study Psychology, Law and English. Originally when I started sixth form I had my eyes set out for a career in law but in the last couple of months I’ve become more interested in a career in midwifery. The uni I want to go to allow psychology as a science subject in their entry requirements so finding a course is not the problem. I’m currently struggling with how to link both law and English back to midwifery. So if anyone could help that would be fab

Hi, maybe you could link English to how you can articulate your thoughts and points clearly, showing your ability to communicate coherently? This will be important when addressing your patient and their family
You don't need to talk about your A Levels at all - check out this guidance https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=5550452

You don't need to bring A levels in but I thought this had some nice ideas about how English helps.

I’m kind of worried because the a levels I do aren’t necessarily very scientific so do you think admissions will over look it?

I don't know. Their website is likely to be the best place to find out. But talking about your A Levels won't convince them to overlook it if not
