Can anyone explain why the answer is 16 and not 8? I thought first order rate increases by a factor of 2 and 2nd order increases by a factor of 4. So I would do 2+2+4=8. Can anyone explain this?
You have to multiply them to get the overall order. So it would be 2x2x4= 16. Hope that helps
