I passed the online test portion and got an email saying they would let me know about my application in 10 days. In theory, I should know this week but we'll see.

Just finished my online test, I've been so ill with the non covid "covid illness" i didn't have the strength to finish my application during the earlybird week! But is all submitted now :smile:

the online test is just example situations that we could be placed in/encounter as social workers and you have to choose the most likely and least likely option you'd pick. it is challenging but you will be fine - there are three practise questions at the beginning to show you what to do!

good luck everyone! hopefully we all get through to the summer stage and an confirmed offer!

I got to video interview! I completed it yesterday, I had notification on Tuesday! Now to wait and hear if I got to AC🤞🏼

I did my video interview today! I did not think to look up ofsted reviews of local authorities when i put down my location! probably silly of me. waiting to hear back to see if i get through to ac

I passed my online tests but was told that they would get back to me about my application within 10 days ( so they were meant to get back today). When would it be reasonable for me to email them asking for an update? I was thinking I'd wait another week?

it is 10 working days, so bear this in mind its more like 2 weeks. but if it has been that long and you are concerned just drop them an email x

Did you get an email telling you that the video interview had been unlocked? I just checked my online account and the VI has been unlocked but I never received an email. I also don't know how long its been unlocked for so don't know when the 7 day countdown began

I would say email, I got an email inviting to video qhen it opened

to be honest, my video interview was no way way near as good as it could of been. i didn't say half the things i wanted to say and it was really nerve wracking. to those of you that haven't done it yet, please remember that your answers have to be so quick there really isn't a lot of time to explain things so just get to the point i felt thats where i went wrong. i guess i will just wait and see now anyway!

how did everyone else find the video interview if you've done it?

I’m sure you did better than you think - I always think I’ve messed interviews up and then seem to do alright!

How long did the video interview take? I’m still waiting to get an email back about my application after passing the test😟

it didn't take long at all! i'd say the whole thing took around 15 or 20mins max. as i said the time goes so quick x

I passed the online test but it has definitely been more than 10 days now and im still waiting to here back if im on to the video interview stage. Is anyone else in the same situation

Hey!

Have you signed on to your portal? I didn’t have an email to say I got to video interview, just saw it when i signed on!

I’m currently awaiting the result of my video interview to see if I get to AC!

I have my fingers crossed for you! Has it been 10 working days? I think I heard on 7 working days later? I hope this helps! If it has been I’d drop them an email (providing your portal hasn’t changed!) xx

I passed my online test and received the email from them on 08/10, to advise they were reviewing my application. So according to the 10 working days, I'm expecting to hear back by this coming Friday.

Just did my Video Interview. Even though we've been online during the pandemic I can never get over how weird it is seeing myself on camera. There was one question where I ran out of time and didn't say the main bit of what I wanted to say. 60 seconds is really not long at all. I also have the flu but luckily didn't dissolve into a coughing fit during the VI.

Need to wait for the results now. Good luck to everyone!
