So I’m in year 11 and choosing my options for next year, but I’m not sure what to do. I want to be a teacher (science specifically biology) so I’m definitely doing biology and i want to do psychology. However for the 3rd A Level I want to do the equivalent for Health and social care or chemistry. I know chemistry would be a better option however I’ve heard it’s difficult. Im currently predicted an 8 in biology and chemistry.

Hi K.aa,
I was also in your position back when I was choosing my A-Levels. I doubted myself for choosing A-Levels that I am capable of just because people say that it’s hard. My best advice is to try college taster days first and see what it’s really like, don’t just lay your conclusion and not choosing that particular subject just because of what you heard from your friends, or other sources. Do a thorough research of each subject and mind-map them if it helps you decide. I hope this helps
! Let me know how it goes. And good luck with choosing your A-Levels!
