hi all
I was wondering what uni I should put down for my 4th choice for medicine
I of course understand there is no such thing as a safe uni for med, but im looking for one where I think I could fit the requirements really well

I have 2940 band 1
all 9s at gcse

do you think this ucat score is too high for Cardiff?
im also considering Southampton or Nottingham...

I was also wondering if you have a high ucat, is there any benefit to applying to a low ucat uni????

thanks very much

Why would your UCAT score be "too high"? Do you think unis just cross off applicants who are at the top of the range? That doesn't make any sense!

You have excellent GCSEs and Cardiff is fairly GCSE heavy I understand, so that might work in your favour as a result.

Have you looked at ones which consider UCAT after the interview? Yours is very high so will be a good advantage! Eg, UEA.
Ahh I have just seen ecolier has directed you to the megathread, never mind!
Good luck, your stats are amazing I’m sure you’ll do great wherever you apply!
