Hey @iam_sneha

How are you?

It's great to hear you're applying for marketing courses. Have you thought about applying to the University of Bradford for this?

We offer an MSc in Marketing and Management and an MSc in Digital and Strategic Marketing which are both approved by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), offering students the opportunity to gain professional qualifications through the CIM Graduate Gateway

Our Marketing and Management course will equip you with all the knowledge and skills you need in marketing and management which reflect relevant research, best practice and innovative thinking to enhance your employability. You'll also learn from academics and student peers from around the world, giving you an invaluable perspective on the issues and challenges facing marketers in today's global business environment.

Our Digital and Strategic Marketing course will develop your working knowledge of digital and strategic marketing tools and techniques, and learn how to integrate them to plan and implement successful marketing programmes and initiatives. There's also a strong emphasis on practical application, so lots of opportunities to develop your analytical and problem-solving abilities through the use of case studies and strategic marketing simulations. After completing this course you'll be able to pursue careers in the field of strategic marketing, branding, advertising, digital marketing and non-profit organisation.

If you want to find out what it's really like to study Marketing at Bradford, you can check out this student profile from Sravani, who travelled from Mysore in Southern India to study MSc Digital and Strategic Marketing with us

Please do let me know if you have any questions about these courses, and I'll do my best to help

I wish you the best of luck with your university journey, whichever university you choose I hope you have the best time.

Hi @iam_sneha,

It's great to hear you are wishing to study marketing at a masters level, have you considered our courses at the University of East Anglia?

We offer an MSc Marketing and MSc Marketing and Management course, which have both been awarded the Graduate Gateway status by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). This means that you will be granted exemptions for assessments if you wanted to gain a CIM qualification up to 5 years after graduating.

I started the MSc Marketing and Management course about a month ago and I am loving it so far! I come from an undergraduate degree in Geography so I was nervous to start this course as it's something very different, but this course is designed for people from all different undergraduate backgrounds. For example, other people from my course have completed undergraduate degrees in psychology, education, english literature- there is a huge mix!

These courses take place in the Norwich Business School at UEA, which is placed in the UK top 20, with Marketing placing 8th (Complete University Guide 2019). The university is situated near Norwich in Norfolk which is a lovely setting and the campus very green and peaceful. We have our virtual open day up and running if you are interested in learning more about UEA.

If you have any other questions about UEA or Marketing, please let me know:smile:

Best,
Lia

Hey @iam_sneha

I am really happy to hear you are wanting to apply for a marketing program, as this is my subject area I always get really happy to hear others are looking to study in the area too!! Here at the University of Hull, we have two masters courses for Marketing; MSc Advertising and Marketing and MSc Marketing Management.

I have recently completed the MSc Advertising and Marketing course and it's been a brilliant experience. I studied a BA in Marketing here at Hull and because I had such an amazing experience I knew where I would be applying for masters straight away, however, I know it can be a very difficult decision for those who are unsure of where to study. For the Advertising and Marketing course, there are six modules which include digital, ethics and advertising focussed modules (you can check the full course HERE if you want) and for the Marketing Management some modules are the same but there are also courses focused on relationship, analytical and global marketing (you can find that course HERE).

During this course, we have had the chance to speak to and work with industry experts, for example in a group project for one of our modules we created an events portfolio for a client, for another module we created marketing plans for a fitness company who we presented to and got direct feedback from the company! These first-hand experiences really helped me and my classmates to boost our experience as well as our knowledge. Since we have completed the course several of my classmates have been offered roles such as Marketing Executive, Marketing Account Manager and Social Media Specialist while I personally have started my PhD. Throughout the course here at Hull, the careers service put on several job fairs and sessions to help you find and apply for jobs.

Of course, the course is so important, but I have to mention that the university is a great to place to be, it is located in East Yorkshire (a region known for friendliness). I have had so much support from my lectures, made the best friends and really had some life-changing experiences in the past three years. Not to mention that the city of Hull is one of the cheapest cities in the UK and the university has some incredible accreditations which help boost any future work applications.

If you want to discuss the course in further detail please feel free to message me on our Unibuddy platform HERE, you can also find several blogs from students discussing the city, the university, the social aspects of the university and accommodation too! If you have any more questions you would like to ask on here please do and I am happy to help. Best of luck with your decision!
