I want to study Psychology at uni but the universities I want to apply to require the grades AAB or A*AA

however, my predicted grades are AAC which is horribly frustrating
( A in maths, A in psychology and C in English literature)

I’m really stressed out now, is it worth applying to the universities?

Yes it is worth applying, particularly for the AAB ones. However, make sure you do apply for a couple of lower grade boundary unis just so you have something to fall back on. I think people say roughly do one above your predicted grades, two on your predicted grades, and two below

Probably not. Apply to the AAB one definitely, but one so many grades higher they’ll flat out reject you unfortunately. English lit isn’t even related to psychology so if you have time maybe drop it and do something else that you can get a better grade in.

I’m in year 13 and it’s too late to drop any subjects but thank you!

Would your English teacher increase your prediction if you improve this term?
