Greetings guys.
I am an international student that will commence his PhD early 2022. I applied for my ATAS last week and in the "spouse" section I put single as even though I have been cohabiting with my partner for several years we are still not married. However, we have now seen that the requirements for a partner visa for her are strict and we don't have many official documents to prove our relationship to UKVI. So we have thought of getting married before applying to visa to ease the requirements so that she is able to travel with me to the UK. Do you think having selected "single" in the ATAS will pose a problem during our visa application if we are married by that point? Should I contact ATAS team or should I wait to get my ATAS first?
Thanks in advance for your help!
