Does visiting someone’s house make you feel closer/familiar to them as a person?

If you visit someone’s house, for whatever reason to study, meet up etc, does it make you feel more familiar with/closer with the person?

Sounds an odd question but I’m asking as I like someone and they are comming round to mine with a few other people to study. Would it make me more familiar to them than if they didn’t see what my house was like?

Yes. I think its because someones house is their personal safe space, so being invited into that space and trusted to be there is sort of an honour. Might sound a bit weird but thats how i view it 😂
