I want to do occupational therapy at uni and I think I need relevant work experience but how do I get that?

What are the websites that I can find this??

You can volunteer at hospitals to support patients - will look great on your CV. Take a look at the Manchester hospitals website for example.

This is currently harder due to covid and volunteering restrictions.

I would recommend contacting old peoples homes as well as NHS sites as often the experience in working with people is more important than the medical side of the experience.

You may need to have a PVG/DBS check before working with clients though.

Yes, helping people no matter what type can count as successful work experience.
But I would recommend speaking to a (or more) OT(s) about what they do to give you a more rounded understanding.
