I sent my UCAS application in on Friday’s and it is now with my school. however, i’m habit second thoughts about my course, can my school send the application back to me to change?

Or if its already gone to UCAS, you have 14 days 'cooling off' to change choices.

Really? How do you do this? What about the personal statement, that cannot be changed?

1) You can swap a Uni/course choice for a different one within 14 days of the date on your welcome email. You can only swap each choice once and only within 14 days of the date on your welcome email. The 14-day period starts from the day you receive your email. (https://www.ucas.com/undergraduate/a...e-application_
2) No you can't change you PS in any way once it has gone to UCAS.

Yeah so if someone had applied to History and then all of a sudden wanted to do Economics, there wouldn't be much point as the personal statement wouldn't address the new course.

That would depend on the weighting that their chosen universities put on the PS (and whether they accept supplemental PSs)
