Starting a new role for am accounting firm, but i don't feel good enough for the job, ive forgetten some accounting principles in which i studied and also will be working in a department am not great at, as it was one of the modules i didn't perform well in , achieved a 2.2.

Overall i did well at university and regard myself as someone who's a quick learner. I've managed to land my dream accounting job right after uni. Do workplace usually give you time to adjust and get use to the new knowledge, im worried i won't know much on my first day or week and would look like a fool.

Loads of people go into accounting with non-accounting/finance degrees every year. Those people will have 0 knowledge of accounting principles, so you are still ahead of them at the moment even if you did get a 2.2 in that module.

Lots of people will have your concerns - it won't be an issue for the work as you'll know way more than most. Just make sure you are not heavily committed socially so can plough into studies when that gets busy or tough.
