hi so I'm looking to go to lae stratford for sixth form, but I've been looking at all the google reviews + articles and a lot are saying how unfair they can be and how burdening the extra-curricular activities are - can I please have more opinions on the school as I'm not so sure anymore...

This is a great question. You should be proud that you're doing research about it.
The real question is which colleges/sixth form do you wanna go to?
If you wanna go to places like LAE.Brampton, NCS, Harris Westminister etc, it's all kinda similar.

Therefore it honestly depends on the person, don't let google reviews influence you. I don't go to LAE but I hope you get a response from an actual LAE student and good luckkk 🙌🙌

Hey hey! I’m a student at LAE- please don’t look at google reviews, they’re the furthest thing from the truth. LAE stretches its students and gives us the skills and experience we need- that’s why there’s so many extracurriculars. Whilst it’s challenging, they are actually quite fun, it helps that the people are really nice! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!

Hi, I am really sorry I know this thread has been dead for like 2 yrs now, but I’m considering going to LAE in a few month and it is a difficult choice between this sixth form and another one, so I would be unimaginably grateful to you as to a student if you answered a couple of questions:

1.

So what is the uniform policy like? Is it as strict as they state on the website?

2.

How academically challenging the education there is? (the more the merrier haha)

3.

Can u take more than 4 subjects or do 4 and an EPQ? Or 4 and an AS?

4.

How far do they support students in pursuing their uni goals?

5.

And finally, d o t h e s t u d e n t s w a n t to actually learn? this is crucial imo
