the question is below

divide 3x3-2x2+5x+2 by (3x+1) and state the quotient

I've done the division and I got (x2-x+2)(3x+1) but i'm rlly stuck on what to do next. Pls help

The quotient is simply the first factor. The divisor is the second factor.
so
(3x^3-2x^2+5x+2)/(3x+1) = (x^2-x+2)
