So I sent off my application today. So I applied to UCL and on UCAS it asked if I'd be living at home while studying so for now I ticked yes as my mum as of now will probs say no to me moving out should I get UCL. But in the case that I can, would me having ticked yes to that pose a problem?

It shouldn’t be a problem, I think you might be able to apply for the student accommodation anyways as it’s with the university and not UCAS. But you really need to confirm this with your parents about whether you can move out or not by June, as a lot of the residences will have already been filled up. There are also options like private student accommodations.
