I'm supposed to submit my medicine application tomorrow at 6pm and my referee still hasn't submitted their reference? They said on Tuesday that they'd do it yesterday and if it wasn't done then, I should pester her. I emailed her twice yesterday and once this afternoon and I've still heard nothing. If she doesn't submit it in time, is it possible to send my application without a reference? Is there any point in doing this? Would the application just be automatically rejected without a reference?

Assuming that you are applying to GEM please post in the GEM thread: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/sho....php?t=6100344

The answer is: you really should have a reference. Without one you are at their mercy and they could reject you, similar to submitting after the deadline. https://www.theuniguide.co.uk/advice...ems-avoid-them
