Currently looking at grades of AAA for the end of this year, and it’s coming to the time to look at universities. Looking to do Computer Science at Warwick or Newcastle at the moment. I’ve worked really hard over the past year in further maths, so it’s making me gravitate towards Newcastle’s lower entry standards and better night life, not to mention Newcastle is just over an hour away compared to 3 hours away for Warwick. Wanting a nicer balance of nights out/ good modules, work etc., but don’t want to throw away any good prospects of Warwick. Any advice would be great

You need to rethink this. Warwick is ranked 23rd and Newcastle 59th in the Guardian Good Uni guide for Computer Science. Manchester is ranked 8th and Durham 9th. Have you considered these unis?
