Anyone who has studied at Slade?

Hey!

I've been planning on attending BA/BFA at Slade School of Fine Arts in UCL. However, I would love some insight from someone who has studied there before. As I am an international student, the school fees are literally exorbitant (for context, £31,200++ per annum). I've considered other unis like Ruskin and CSM but Slade seemed to have the best rep in terms of pedagogy. Ruskin, too uptight and traditional, while CSM just had plain bad reviews.

Couldn't find much on Slade, just some complaining of its lack of structure and pretentious belief of what contemporary art is. I really hope it's not the case!

If possible, may someone enlighten me on their Slade experience (social life, classes, cost of living, career prospects etc)? Thank you so much!! :smile:
