An epq is an extended project qualification which is the equivalent of 50% of an A-level. Sometimes spending a lot of time on an EPQ can be bad as it could bring down your other grades. Some unis also don't require an EPQ so check if they do or not. But EPQs help prepare people for university study. Many students get bad EPQ grades but if your normal grades are acceptable you should be fine
