Hi,

I am a welsh student currently in my final year of a non-healthcare degree. Recently I have realised I would like to study physiotherapy after my graduation. However, I am unable to find information online about whether I would be eligible for funding from SFW for this degree.

From what I have read I gather English students are eligible for funding, but I am finding it harder to find information for Welsh students. I know that I will not be able to fund myself for a second degree, but this course is something I really want to do.

Does anyone know anything about funding for a second degree in Wales? Or is anyone in the same boat?

Thanks

look on the specific course page, normally you only get funding for 1 UG and 1PG course only.

I have no clue if being Welsh will make a difference or not but, as a English student with a undergrad degree already I will get funding for my second degree in Radiotherapy. English students will if you study a field which is on the Allied Health Professions exemption list, physiotherapy is on that list.

As I say, I have no idea if this applies to Welsh students or not. I do know I would be eligible for free tuition if I studied Radiotherapy at Cardiff, I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for Welsh students.
