what bit are you finding difficult?

The whole thing really , it’s only 4 marks so i don’t think you have to differentiate.

Yea quickest and easiest method to solve this question is using the discriminant

Yes, but im not sure how to use it with this question as Ive only seen it with quadratics

Start by substituting the y=ax+b into the equation of a circle...group like terms together and use the discriminant
