Grades have tanked. What do I do for predictions?

Hi!

I really want to study English Literature at UCL for a 2022 entry. Up until a few months ago, I was an A* student. I've been through a lot of difficult things personally over the past few months and my grades have since tanked to BCD. My hope was to sit my mock exams and bring my grades back up, but I got COVID during my mocks (and I was really poorly with it). Now that I'm back in college, I'm sitting 5 long exams in the space of 4 days and I've tanked every one I've sat so far. I just don't know what to do. I need to get my predicted grades up but I don't sit another round of assessments until January, after the application deadline for UCL. Is there anything I can do?
Take the long view. If you can't get your predicted grades up for this round of applications then focus on your actual A-levels. If you get the sort of grades you had in the past you can apply to UCL and similar unis the following year.
Take a gap year
Start doing some work, and go for the best possible grades you can.
Then apply next year with achieved grades.
