EPQ interview

Hi, If I am conducting an interview to use as evidence for something, does this need to be recorded or can it just be transcribed

Hi!
Usually you would record the interview but this can be just an audio recording, not a video recording. This is for a few reasons but one of them is that, to properly transcribe the interview, you will need a recording of the interview that you can then listen to and transcribe. If you don't have a recording then you are just making notes or recalling information, rather than transcribing the interview.
Hope this helps!
