Law PS - can I base it on systemic racism?

Hi,
I’m currently writing my PS for Law and I’m applying to LSE, UCL, KCL, QMUL & City. Is it okay to discuss systemic racism in the legal system whilst linking it to cases like George Floyd & the Central Park 5? I want to highlight how the law evolves alongside society so I can discuss how both of these events lead to changes in legislation. I also want to link into the Human Rights Act. However how can I link this into why I want to study law? I’m just a bit apprehensive that this topic might be a bit difficult to discuss. I also want my personal reading to include another injustice in the legal system. I may be at risk of criticising the legal system too much? Any help would be appreciated!
Your PS isn't about the justice system per se - it's about your interest in the academic study of law. It's not about your opinions - that's more like an essay

Thank you. I think you’re right I’m writing in an essay mindset.
