Physics with Astrophysics: Year in Industry vs Year Abroad

I am planning to apply for a Physics with Astrophysics bachelors degree and I was wondering whether a year in industry or a year abroad would be more beneficial? I know that a year in industry would perhaps give me better job prospects but would a year abroad make me stand out more? If anyone has applied to either, do you think it was beneficial?
